2010 programme:

School entry rate for Foundation Years to Year 11 is ONLY £5.00 per pupil (school staff are FREE, other adults £5.00)

Year 12 and above £10.00 per student (teaching staff are FREE, other adults £10.00).

Foundation to KS2 sessions are £1.00 per pupil for half an hour session.

KS3 and above sessions are £2.00 per student for 45 mins to 1 hour session.

Choose from:

  • Foundation Fun - Foundation Years -introduction to animals - real animals and a song.
  • Living Things - KS1 - explore how some animals move, breathe, feed and grow.
  • Variety of Life - KS1&2 - discover similarities and differences in animal classification.
  • Food & Feeding - KS2 -herbivores, carnivores and omnivores, a close encounter with animal teeth!
  • Savannah Story - KS2 drama workshop for 25 to 35 pupils about how the African grasslands ecosystem works.
  • Growing Up - KS2 life cycles. Using live animals, props and artifacts.
  • Endangered Animals - KS2&3 - discover why some species are endangered and what you can do to help.
  • Adaptations - KS2&3 - how animals live in their habitats.
  • Leisure & Tourism - KS3 various levels - presentation on how the Safari park works in the leisure industry.
  • Marketing - KS3 various levels - presentation of Knowsley Safari Park’s marketing strategies.
  • Customer Care - KS3 various levels - presentation of customer care practices at Knowsley Safari Park.
  • How the Safari Park Works - KS3 various levels - presentation on animal husbandry, welfare and captive breeding programmes. Other talks by arrangement.
